Photoshoot makeup at the Belle Epoque, Knutsford, Cheshire, March 2019
When Hannah from Hannah Charlotte Bespoke asked me to do makeup at The Belle Epoque for the photoshoot of her 2019 collection I of course jumped at the chance.
Not only do I love Hannah’s designs, having worked with her on previous shoots, but I knew there were some other fabulous suppliers lined up for the shoot.
When a group of talented suppliers get together it is amazing what can be created for a shoot. With three models and countless bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses to shoot it was a jam packed day.
I had a fab time working alongside Pure Essence Hairdressing (who styled the models’ hair) to create the looks for the three models. For the bridal model we decided on an old hollywood glamour look (my favourite if I’m honest) which was quickly turned into a more fun and vibrant look for the dresses shot later in the day.
For the bridesmaid look we created a rose gold eye which looked perfect on model Eva and worked effortlessly well with the two bridesmaid looks she modelled.
The third model wore the stunning mother of the bride outfits. We created a subtle, neutral look for this gorgeous model to allow her look to work with the variety of different colours she was dressed in during the course of the shoot. I do love a neutral, classic look for a mother of the bride though so the look we created was perfection for me.
To compliment the dresses, models’ hair and makeup and the glorious venue the shoot also involved:
- two cakes from Lilac Pig
- stationary from Raspberry Toast
- Venue styling by Florence and Vera Events
- Flowers by Perfect Bouquet Full of Flowers
But here are a few shots anyway …
