Spring 2020 – Eco photoshoot at the White Hart Inn, Alfreton, Derbyshire – creating the perfect, natural bridal makeup look
The start of spring has been busy. In addition to lots of trials in preparation for the start of wedding season I have been lucky enough to be involved in a number of different photoshoots with varying themes.
One shoot, which I blog about a few weeks ago, had a Game of Thrones theme and involved lavish green and crimson flowers, a decadent deep green three tier cake, statement head pieces and bejeweled gowns. The shoot at the White Hart Inn was certainly less decadent but utterly brilliant in its own way.
This shoot showcased eco suppliers for the bride and groom who are conscious of the environment as they make their wedding day plans. And lets face it, in a world where the climate seems to be in a constant state of change, an eco perspective when choosing your suppliers is at least worth a thought.
As and when necessary, I am able to offer my environmentally conscious brides a full compliment of ‘clean’ makeup to create their bridal looks. As, although I have a variety of different makeup brands in my full makeup kit, I do have a kit (smaller in size but more than enough to create a complete look) comprised solely of items from Arbonne.
Arbonne is a swiss based company creating makeup, skin care and nutritional products that are truly ‘clean’ and, as an extra benefit, certified as vegan. So, if an eco friendly perspective is what you have for your wedding, and you are looking for a makeup artist that can fully meet your needs please get in touch.
In the meantime … I hope you like some of the sneak peaks from the shoot below.
