Makeup for bride Zoe, Peover, Cheshire, April 2019
As well as Easter eggs, Easter Sunday this year brought me the joy of creating bridal makeup at the Oak Tree of Peover for Zoe and her beautiful band of six bridesmaids.
Due to the time of the ceremony we only had three hours to get everyone ready so I took my assistant Michelle along with me.
Zoe was such a lovely bride to work with. She was a little anxious about getting her look perfect so we had two trials before the wedding day itself. The look we eventually went with was a strong brown smoked eye with a significant black feline flick … and some false lashes just to finish it all off.
We used airbrush (Airbase) foundation for the base as Zoe suffers with some light scarring on her face and neck. Airbrush makeup is amazing at covering skin issues like this as it does so flawlessly and without the need for a heavy application of makeup.
The sun was shining throughout the day and although that meant it got a little hot in the bridal room at the Oak Tree, a bride couldn’t ask for better weather to say ‘I do’. A lovely day for a fabulous lady.
Thanks for choosing me Zoe 🙂
