Statement eyes for my gorgeous bride at the Lindeth Howe, Bowness, Windermere, Cumbria
I love the Lake District and there are certain venues that are always a treat for me to visit. The Lindeth Howe in Bowness on Windermere is one such place.
The walls are adorned with open books, the carpets are covered in images of wild animals and there are flowers and butterflies everywhere you look. The whimsical vibe and rabbit images in particular are a nod to the great Beatrix Potter who was said to frequent the Lindeth Howe when it was a home many years ago.
As a child I adored the Tales of Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten, Jemima Puddleduck, Mrs Tiddiewinkle and the rest, so when I walk through the great wooden doors at the Lindeth Howe it is like I am transported back to my childhood.
So it is always with great joy when I can say yes to a booking at the Lindeth.
This stunning bride wanted a statement eye look and we went for copper tones and a good old black wing to create it, what do you think?
A huge thank you to this gorgeous bride for sending me the professional photos from her wedding after she had received them. They are always so much better than the ones I take on my phone!
