Now that September has arrived I feel like I can finally take a breath. Although there are still lots of weddings at this time of year, the madness that is wedding season is now a distant memory, distant, but lovely. I have had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful brides and their families creating their perfect bridal makeup looks.
One of the perks of my job is getting to work at loads of amazing venues and wedding season has been no different. I have created makeup looks overlooking Lake Windermere at the Cragwood Hotel, Merewood Hotel, Swan Inn, Lakeside Hotel, the Samling, the Bellsfield and more.
I have worked closer to home in Manchester and Cheshire and created wedding makeup for brides at Pryors Hayes, Albert’s, Manchester Art Gallery, the Midland Hotel and the Lowry Hotel. There have been more venues I just can’t think of them all as I write!
In addition to all this wedding madness, I have also been involved in two bridal photoshoots which are due to be published before the end of the year. One took place at a cool Manchester Bar and is going to appear in a Blog in the next few months, the other took place at Manchester Art Gallery and will be featured in Cheshire Bride. Can’t wait to see the pictures in print.
As a final addition to the madness I have been featured in an article on confetti.com, click here to read the full article and I have been asked to respond to a bride’s interesting makeup question for the next feature of ‘My North West Wedding’. My answer will be featured in the October edition of the magazine.
That’s it for now! Another update in a few weeks … lots of wedding fayres coming up.
